Dear Tyler,

Obviously this is a topic people disagree on.
Trimming or shaving pubic hair is purely a fashion idea.

There is no physical reason to ever cut it, other than to get rid of lice or to prepare for surgery.

Fashion-wise, the best bet is to make an effort to please your partner's desires about it.

But keep in mind that nature has put body hair on us for many different reasons .. and one of these is to minimize the effects of skin surfaces constantly rubbing each other.

You may notice that when you shave your testicle hair and nearby leg hair completely, you become much more aware of your testicles rubbing your legs. The hair acts sort of like "roller bearings", and keeps skin surfaces moving over each other easily without irritation.

So ... keep in mind that body hair may be part of a very good overall design.

hope this helps

When you finish your trans-gender sex reassignment? No offense but I understand that T-G people shave....

I suppose it depends on why you need or want to shave your pubic hair. Personally I can't think of a single reason why I would but hey....That's me.

Truthful answer?
On your 65th birthday OR unless there is a medical reason.

Your call.

THIS SHOULD NEVER BE DONE! Holy god, the regrowing hair is an itch like no other. Coupled with the constant itching, the razor bumps will make it look like you have herpes in addition. If you want, wax, but NEVER shave...

Oh, I shudder with those dark memories...

as soon as you feel comfortable shaving it, or unless your partner asks you to. try something fun for a change and have your partner shave it for you.

that's completely up to you. a lot of guys usually keep it, or at least some of it. i know tons of guys, but only one of them actually shaves it off. you might want to trim it so it wont be disgustingly bushy.

If you get crabs.
If you need chemo for cancer and don't want it clogging the shower when it falls out.
If you get a role in a gay porn movie.

Otherwise never!
