shows what idiots the people who oppose him are, they run a free gun giveaway in a state that just lost 39 kids to a legal gun shooting rampage a month before...he wants to crack down on negligence forthose who sell guns, not get rid of them, unfortunately gun nuts are too dumb to see that.

As usually, it is political bull to that does not solve the problem. Criminals will get guns no matter what. Gun Laws don't work. Look at Britain, where police don't carry guns but they still have gun violence. Also Japan, with heavy handed gun laws yet the prime minister was shot and killed.

Gun laws do not work.

Edit: Hey jackass, both those countries have a much smaller population than the U.S. as well as less ethnical mixing (though Britian is starting to catch up with the muslims). Both cause instability within a country. However, crime rates in the U.S. have been in steady decline since the 90's according to every major U.S. law enforcement body. Your argument is shattered.

It's a great idea. Anything that harasses the scum who sell guns to criminals without checking their backgrounds is a great idea.

I think it radically overstepps his authority. It's the responsibility of the federal government to regulate interstate trade.
