Thats hard to determine. When my daughter was born the newborn sizes were just fitting so that meant that she wasn't going to be in them long. If you don't want to waste a lot of money, you should buy only a few newborn sizes and buy everything else 0-3 months since he or she will be in them longer. Just to be on the safe side, I would put a newborn size and a 0-3 month size outfit in her diaper bag for his/her outfit to wear home. Congratulations.

Wait until after your baby shower to see what your will actually need to buy (if you plan to have one) It's hard to predict what people will buy. I have been to many different baby showers and the gifts are always different. Some will receive mostly newborn while others will receive 6-9 months. Another reason why your will want to hold off until closer to the end is because the doctors can usually give you a close birth weight. You don't want to waste money on newborn clothes if you have an 8 pound baby . . . they will only last 2 weeks at the most!! If you are just anxious to begin a wardrobe for your little one, get a variety of sizes.
Type of clothes depends on the area you live. Check the average weather for October and this will give you an idea of what to buy. Keep in mind even if the baby is 6 pounds the newborn clothing will only last a month max. My personal preference is to buy a bunch of gowns rather than outfits. Get 3-6 months because they still fit nice if they are big!!!

We had several newborn clothes that went unused because realistically most babies don't fit into the newborn clothes...if they are full term babies. My son weighed 8lbs 3 ozs...a decent size but not huge by any means and didn't fit into newborn clothes. I suggest buying 0-3 months clothes you will get use out of them. If you want to try to have a couple of newborn clothes just in case you could do that.

I'd buy the newborn AND the 0-3 months because those newborn clothes tend to be bigger than what you'd think.
My first baby weighed nearly 11lbs and his coming-home from the hospital outfit was STILL big on him, and it was size newborn.
My daughter is also due in October, and that's what we're going to do when we start buying her baby's clothes.

I bet it's hard to find any newborn long sleeve things right now.
You can always buy regular onesies (you can never have too many onesies!) and if it's cold, put a sweater or jacket on the baby, or wrap him/her in a blanket those first few months.

Skip newborn size! because:
a. It may not fit baby anyway (like mine)
b. 0-3 will fit, looser is better than tighter. And they will last all season.

i think which you will have the toddlers blessed whilst they are born, yet as for batism is going i think that they could desire to be baptised at 8. Why 8? via fact i think of which would be an excellent age for them to comprehend approximately their faith, they comprehend from what's sturdy and what's incorrect. the clarification for baptism is to bathe away all your sins, and fairly be reborn returned. toddlers who're baptised at start fairly dont comprehend the actual meaning of baptism. this is in basic terms how i think, whether it relies upon on what faith you're and the type you experience approximately it.
