You are right to not butt in, it's a quick way to lose a friend. If you do so before she is ready to get rid of him, she will turn on you and get rid of you instead. Remember she picked him and will stand by him until she decides to do otherwise.
That being said...he is cheating on her. She needs to kick him to the curb and find a good man that will love her and show her respect. Just wait, she will come to you when the time is right.

It seem like he is I mean why else does he need to leave 2 hrs. early for work I would be calling his job to see what time he arrived at work. I don't play that mess, I takes my husband exactly 15 min. to get to his job from the house so at the earliest I let him leave is 30 min in case of any delays or bad weather. You know there has to be a woman if he had sparkles on his face I'm sure he doesn't put glitter on his self so some one had to have their face rubbed up against his. She really needs to get to the bottom of this and confront his a**. It makes me mad just thinking about is he's lucky I'm not his wife I would have already went upside his head with something real hard. Well hope she finds out what he's doing and then leaves his a** alone. That's the one thing I told my husband I would not put up with if he ever cheated on me I would divorce him so fast, because we're supposed to be one with each and I just couldn't picture him being intimate with another woman or even think about him looking at one the way he looks at me. I'll deal with him getting on my nerves and the occasional arguments but not a cheater and that's what your friends seems to have.

He is definitely cheating. Why would moving towns help with his infidelity? If he's coming home two hours late and with sparkles on his face, then you would have to be a total dick not to realize what's going on.

He's coming home with Sparkles on his face. Doesn't Sparkles have a shower at her apartment?
Please, you can relocate a cheater and all you've done is give him a different playground.
Tell your friend to cut her losses, face the truth and move on.
Also, tell your friend that HIV is no picnic.

Usually a womans gut instinct is right on. Even if he isn't cheating... she obviously doesn't trust him. Both will destroy the relationship....along with outside parties getting involved. She needs to do some soul searching!

why hasn't she followed him yet? I sure would!!!
That being said, the answer is so in-your-face, she sounds like the type of woman that doesn't want to know the truth, because she is scared she'd have to make a decision if she knew. :( Not good for the self-esteem, that's for sure. I'm sure she'd be a happier individual if she loved herself enough to stand up for herself.

He sure sounds like he is cheating. He sounds like an a**. Since he has a history of cheating, he should be kissing her butt, not acting like a jerk. Tell your friend she really needs to wake up.

It sounds like he might be cheating. She needs to hire a private detective (you could help her) or follow him herself. The private eye would be better. Then she needs to leave his butt if he is because he's obviously not going to change.

the glitters on the wall -- he's a dog and he's gotten off his leash. without a doubt you should make sure she is at least protecting herself from the std's he is possibly exposing her to. tell her to insist he use a condom when they have sex. not only will she benefit by preventing a potential infection, he will know then that she is aware of his infidelity and that she is ready to stand up for herself.

I think it is your duty as her "friend" to help get her out of a bad situation. I would do it for my best friend and I hope she would protect me as well. I wouldn't stand by while she is being hurt. When troubles are this obvious I think it is OK to call him out on this, especially with his track record....... You should support and listen to her and help her find a safe and happy way out!! Good Luck
