Oh I love long love stories like Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith or still more long as Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel.

Some couples match up well but I see that so many do not. There is a very good reason for it too. A male and a female lead are starring in a movie in which there is a love angle to the plot. If they are going to relay the impression that there are real feelings between them they have to generate the feelings within themselves to emote the image of love. Of course they do and the story has a fairy tale ending and they have actually convinced themselves that the love connection between the actors is the same as the love connection of the roles they played.

In the script everything works perfect. In real life there is no director guiding them to the ideal love. No assistant director to handle all the fine details of their love live. And the crew doesn't clean up after them. In other words they are in the real world, not fantasy and they divorce in a short time adopt children from some impoverished nation and hire nannies to raise the kids. Star in another movie again and fall for the role again and not the person again.

I think it is an easy trap to fall into because they do such a good job of imitating love that they think it is love.

All I know about Celebrity Couples is that more of them are breaking up faster than ever now.

In fact, don't you think it is very peculiar that half the time we see Tobey Maguire either by himself or with his friends (both male and female), and the other half of the time we see him with the mother of his child? I find it very peculiar, don't you?

You can't really just catgorize them like that: it depends on who they are. Some couples are or were mismatched, but some are good together. You need to be a little more specific than that if you want good answers.

I think they mostly go thru this ''matching'' thing before getting married --- as to hw good they look together.
