is it right by vegas? how far? is it a really "bad" area?

Just outside of Las Vegas, nad not bad the last time I was there.

Henderson Nevada is just southeast of Las Vegas. It is not a bad area, but a rather new and nice part of the Las Vegas valley. When driving from Vegas there is no discernable border while passing from Las Vegas to Henderson

Henderson is next door to Las Vegas. It is a wonderful area !! If I had to live in the Vegas area I would choose Henderson. I live 95 miles south of there and don't go to Vegas anymore. My friends and I go to Henderson. It has great casinos, shopping malls, and some wonderful eating places. Almost everything is new and nice. If you worked in downtown Vegas it is about a 20 min. drive. We like to avoid the crowds and the traffic.

It is the second largest city in Nevada. It is immediately east of Las Vegas. The worst part is not in Henderson but from west of the Stratosphere north to Down town.

Like the others said, its a suburb of Vegas - about 20 minutes or so from there. I have a friend that lives there and I must say the view from her house is fantastic! I spent a few days there and thought it was a pretty nice area - lots of shopping, cheap casinos and good resturants. You can gamble without all the crowds.

It's connected to Vegas. Old Henderson isn't as nice but there are some newer areas: Green Valley, Anthem, & Seven Hills, that are still considered Henderson that are really nice areas.

It is seven miles east of the airport.
I live here and it is a great town.
You name they have it in this community.
They have an old section by city hall and they have modern sections with houses that can cost over $1 million.
the mayor is a very nice guy. Wanted to run for governor and lost.
And there is no bad area in Henderson. it too is a 24 hour town.

its about 20 mintues south of las vegas. its basically a suburb of las vegas. its actually not that bad of an area.

Henderson NV is about 15 minutes from the strip. You take the 215 south until you hit it.

Suburb of Vegas, not a bad area as far as I have ever known - just a suburb....
