There supposed to give a middle of the road reporting of the news. All the fake arguments and taking sides is just to much. The good cop bad cop routine is as stupid as news gets.

You would think some do but I never really enjoy emotional display. Actually I always used to love listening to the likes of William Buckley Junior who always responded to questions or conducted his interviews with cool, unemotional Ivy League type logic.

Some newscasters (reporters/anchors) have taken some acting and drama classes, some haven't during their college career..

It varies by people themselves and the graduation requirements from the university they attend to get their degree..

Well they sure don't take journalism classes! I haven't seen a single news "reporter" who actually has a brain and investigates news stories since the early days of Geraldo!

Well, maybe John Stossel. He's the only one who actually questions what "everyone" is saying, particularly when only a handful of people are saying it and yet the media reports it as "everyone".

While some newscasters have done some dramatic work earlier in their career, I wouldn't call it a prerequisite for a career in journalism.
