I know that the south east would be under water, but what other parts of the UK would drown

ok, reality check. ask where the highest tide level is on your local coast line. that is the extent of ocean encroachment due to global warming. it is unlikely to drown anyone. to rise any higher will require dumping water into the ocean that doesn't exist. melting ice does not raise water level because that ice is already displacing an equal weight of sea water. warmer temperatures will increase the evaporation rate over the sea and actually put more water onto land and air.
