i have always bleached the hair above my lip because im afraid waxing will make it grow back thicker. i have put off bleaching it since i found out i was pregnant but its getting really dark. is it okay to bleach it?

the hair isnt thick its really thin just dark so bleaching it always works fine. no one even notices it when i dont bleach it. its just something im paranoid about. im not asking whether i should bleach or wax im asking if bleaching is okay while pregnant.

I'd just wait and ask your doctor since no one here as anything valuable to contribute to your question. I was hoping to hear a yes! :)

Probably not. You should try waxing. It doesn't come in thicker and it looks much nicer. When you are talking to someone up close or one on one they can still see the beached hair and proabably still have the same mean thoughts. Waxing is done just about as often but you have to do it less often the longer you do it.
Don't take the chance with your baby.

actually you can use any facial hair remover.. doc says its safe...
i use it around my eyebrows and it works good.
i promise it doesnt grow in thicker or darker.. stays the same..
its just easier then bleachings, its gone for a while.. and its simplier :)

my friend uses the same facial remover for her mustache... she has been using it for years now.. not darker or thicker..
waxing im not sure about..

Try making a paste out of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda - my sister had some darker facial hairs and swore by it. - that should be safe enough for now.

I think ist not dangerous for your child ,because I never heard that fake blondes have born ill children because they are bleaching their hair.
To be sure, just talk with your doctor about it.

i really wouldn't recommend it. bleach is really strong compared to hair dye.

Don't risk anything when you're pregnant. Don't be an idiot.
