Ok I want to know how many of you think that Lana is dead? And if you think she's still alive how do you think she survived that car bomb?

I'm pretty sure she's dead.
Apparently, fans have wanted her gone for awhile now...

Lana is still alive. Chloe will be brought back somehow now that we know she has the power to restore life to the dead through her tears.
However I am kind of wishing that Lana is gone for good. She has her own suite at Smallville Medical Center (right next to the Ma and Pa Kent suite) by now and the hospital staff must be pretty sick of patching her up all the time.

I'm pretty sure Lana is still alive. I have heard that Kristin Kreuk is going to play Lana Lang in Season 7 when it comes out this fall. I believe she faked her death and somehow escaped on the truck that passed by.

nope i think she escaped and i have to agree.. smallville's season finale was the best one i have seen so far... usually ER is, but it wasn't as strong as it usually is... i have to wait for Veronica Mars on Tuesday.. and they are saying its over... if it weren't for Smallville and supernatural left i wouldn't watch the CW anymore!!!!! i so think Lana got away though... and it looked like lex was actually surprised when Clark told him Lana was dead.... am disappointed Chloe is dead though!

i hope Lana's not dead.
i hated the show after her and Lex got together...so why would they have Lana leave Lex for the good guy and then kill her off the show?
that was one of the most intense finale's i've ever seen.

I think she faked her death so Lex wouldn't come after her. She will be back eventually...I think what will happen is that Lex will disappear after the explosion at Reeves Dam and will be presumed dead because he always has a way of evading the law.

she faked her death, didnt u see that truck that was passing by, right before the big KABOOM?that was her escape truck.. Phantom, by the way was the best finale ever, so far
