From what I hear, he was very upset about the decision. I would think he would say, no it isn't grand, not at all.

That is a bit unfair! He wanted to serve his country. Being Royal has certain responsibilities that go with the title of Prince. The Royals really do not have any power other than to do what Government Officials decide. Prince Harry, was ready to go, and it was the commanding Officer, a General no less, who made the recommendation that he not come to Iraq, Not only would he be a target, but by his very presence, he would endanger the lives of many troops.

everyone keen to surrender the time and capability to serve their usa isn't spoke of as a soldier they're a soldier. you do no longer could genuinely be deployed to serve your usa proudly. particularly of attempting to belittle this one guy's attempt to be an honorable person, you're able to have fun the sacrafice he became keen to bear interior the call of his usa. loads of the royal relatives has been became into no longer something greater beneficial than cultural pigion stools...this guy is the exception to the guideline..If I have been british i may be proud.

For goodness sake, give the guy a break!
He is probably feeling bad enough without all this cr*p being thrown at him too.
He is never going to get the top job in his family life (unless some family members die before him) & now he is not even allowed to fulfil his career aims.
If i were him, I would just want to get away from everyone & everything, live my life my way & never have to see another newspaper in my life. Its not like he can resign from his role in life either.
Poor Guy!

Oh,goodness, another one you dreary people who are so full of hatred and jealousy that they are not able to understand anything that is contrary to their opinions.
Any one who completes basic training is a soldier.
Harry is an officer so that means he completed more than basic training.Because he is such a high-profile Royal, which makes him a tempting target,he may not be a veteran of war,but he is still a soldier.

Not his fault - he wanted to go. The only thing is, his presence would jeopardize too many others, and it's not worth the risk. So ya, he is a soldier, and that's grand.

Maybe you could go serve in the war in his place. We'd be happy to see you go.
