Best way to get a Great Dane from Memphis TN to Anchorage AK?

So I moved to to Anchorage from memphis and need to know the best way to get my Great Dane and my wolf hybrid puppy here..
Cant drive them here, who will ship them SAFELY and Reasonably priced (Got a quote for 1600 for the dane alone)?

That means air transport, and bubba that ain't cheap. You are talking changing planes, and probably changing air carriers.

Here are two sites that do pet shipping. There is another idea, and that is to contact the Alaska Dog Mushers Association, see if they might know something.
