What makes me wonder is how a lot of the Chrysler 300C and the Crossfire are built and designed from Benz components, the 300C being formed with a lot of E-Class sedan hardware and the Crossfire using many components from the SLK. If the Benz side of things is no more, will Chrysler have to give up on the 300C and the Crossfire? That would suck.

Daimler retained a 19.9 percent ownership share in Chrysler in the recent sale. I would venture that an agreement was reached to continue using some Benz engineering until these designs are due to be replaced.
