kind of a arrogant statement to make, dont you think?

although if you want a genuine answer, then ask those around you. They hold their own un-bias opinions of you and the other person, giving you a chance to way it up for yourself.

Not too sure anyone can be too good for someone. Cause surely the goodness of the one will only make the other a better person.

But one can be more mature, and understand things that the other is not ready for, and in this case it is advisable sometimes to just let that person go and be themselves, finding their way in their time and you move on to a better understanding of the self and that which is around you.

Never settle.

Our society is trained to react to statements such as "too good for". You have a valid point though.

If that person is dragging you down with debt, drugs, violence, verbal abuse, etc. then you are too good for that person -- and they are not good enough for you.

If the judgments are stay in a shabby relationship or be arrogant -- go for arrogant and find someone better. The balance to arrogance is to recognize where you wouldn't be good enough for another.

When you know the person's moral fiber and beliefs and do not wish to hold those beliefs in high regard. I'm not saying people are better than one another, but I am saying it is okay to not like a person, which is what you're saying. Because, I've been reading other people's entries, and they're saying it's not okay to feel superior to others and they're saying you're pond scum, which is a double standard, if you ask me.

In my opinion it is when u realise that u have become a door mat to them. When u do everything for them that they want u to do, when u go out of ur way to be there for them.
And one day u realise that they dont do anything out of their way for u. So then u realise that u have been too good for them.

When you think you are too good for someone, you are hiding your insecurities about not being good enough. Maybe putting others down makes you feel better about yourself.

I know I am too good for someone when they are uneducated, and proud of it! Whites call them Rednecks. Blacks call them ***---s. Same thing. People who have no education, lazy, drink, take drugs, lie and steal, and then complain that it is everyone else's fault but THEIRS. These people make everyone look bad, no matter what their skin color.

if you think you're too good for the person, move on....cause you're an arrogant, self-centered little brat that is going to hurt a probably perfectly wonderful person. :-)

wanna be loved? find a person who you know is way to good for YOU, but they love you completely and unconditionally nevertheless.

well, i think that:
if u felt u r too good for some one, then u r only conceited ... but if alot of people tell u that ,then they may be right but i am sure u wont believe them if u really love that person.

I would say that if the person doesn't challenge you, and meet you effectively "eye-to-eye" intellectually, he is not a good match for you. I don't know if that means he's "not good enough;" it just means it's not a good pairing.
