Apparently, I drove thru some freshly painted lines without realizing it.

Just keep driving. It will eventually wear off.

Never use any solvents to clean or remove stuff from a tire. It damages the rubber and could lead to premature failure.

If you spray kerosene on it for a couple minutes to let it soak, you can keep scrubbing at it and it will come off for ya, i wouldnt use lacquer thinner like the one kid said, because once u put that on the paint it will fade the paint, unless u have an electric buffer to buff it where it faded.

3M makes a general purpose cleaner that you can try. If that doesn't work try Skin so Soft and that should work, but it takes some time. If you have Car Brite distributor in your area they make paint remover wipes that work great.

In the body shop we use lacquer thinner and paper towels.It comes right off and will not harm the finish.

I've used Go-Jo without pumice and Goop, either does the job.

go to autozone or pep boys and get some "goop". it's a bug and tar remover but will work on fresh paint.
