I need help on how to find out ways to prove in court that your husband was cheating.

also, i need help trying to decide whether i should move out and just drop out of shcool because my husband just came back from LA (with military) and says that he is unhappy and wants a divorce before he leaves for Afghanistan in about a month./

Here's the story; he didnt tell me why he just wants a divorce.
We just moved here PCS in December, and we just bought a house at the end of February. i have always helped support out family for the yr that we were married and now that we have a houes he wants to keep the house and divorce me. with no grounds im not cheating and he says that hes not but i dont believe him one bit. no one just ups and wants a divorce and abandons their new wife in a strange city.

Most states everything is 50/50 bills, assets, etc.. I would contact an attorney for advice before moving out or taking anything out of the home. He/she will be the best to advice you and some have a free initial consultation. Good luck

FYI in most courts in the U.S. adultery is no longer a grounds for divorce so proving it in court is a moot point and the judge would more than likely throw it out anyway.
Your husband doesn't HAVE to tell you why he wants a divorce all he has to do is have you served. He doesn't need your permission to file for divorce. The only grounds he needs for divorce is "Irreconcialble differences" since adultery isn't going to hold up in court. I suggest you take what you can get and move someplace where the cost of living is lower than California.

I think that it is important to prove that he went outside of the marriage, especially if there are children or alimony in the balance. Check every bill that comes in. Credit cards, bank statements, phone bills.... As his wife you have a right to these files so if he's taking them, call the credit card company and get copies. They might make you pay for copies, but keep them in a safe place and don't tell him where they are... check the car, including the truck for any hidden papers, and don't forget the car tag (ez pass or sun-pass) the toll paying device. they can send you a statement of every toll he's paid and see if he's been going somewhere out of the ordinary.

If he's trying to leave you high and dry, and doesn't want to be up front, get everything you can on him. Maybe a private investigator

Sorry to tell you but it doesn't matter if he was cheating. Most states have "no fault" divorce laws, if he was cheating it doesn't help you in the divorce.

He has the right to divorce you for any reason he wants, he doesn't even have to have a reason. You get nothing extra because he was cheating on you. Oh and before you get mad, these rules were originally made by and for women.
