Reformating the hard drive would delete all programs on it. I presume you knew this when this was done. If you didn't save/store the data, you'll have to reinstall the software and reset your passwords.

Once you do a full format your programs are gone. Unless when you were reformatting (reinstalling the OS) you choose to upgrade verses NEW. If you did not have the option and did a NEW or booted the XP disk and reformatted from the boot all your programs are GONE. If you upgraded from the XP disk when XP was running then your programs should still be there. If you choose to do a NEW from the XP disk with XP running they are gone....Thanks

yes, you reformatted your computer back to the origional factory settings from when you purchased your computer. Everything has to be downloaded or installed all over again. Any high scores or saved games are lost unless you had a back up disk.

You're going to have to reinstall everything. Drivers, Software, Network Settings need to be adjusted, any dekstop items, shortcuts, favourites, etc.
Reformatting erases the Hard Disk.

You cant get it back, that is why it is called reformat. Reformat erases everything that you put on it and puts it like the first day you bought it and pulled it out of the box. Sorry!
