What can be done to get drivers to go from Sprint Car racing to Indy Car racing instead of Nascab racing ??

Better promotion. If Indy cars were as popular as they were 10-15 years ago, as well as the split never happening, your Ryan Newmans, Tony Stewarts, Casey Mears, etc. would have never jumped ship, or, at least wait a while before jumping ship to NASCAR.

Because the money (except Indy) isnt there like it is in NASCAR, as well as the attention that was there in the past, NASCAR is a way more attractive option than running a carrer in Indy cars.

Open wheel racing in this country has a disease.The cancer known as nascar.It has robbed the life out of IRL as well as CHAMP CAR.But it isn't really nascar's fault.The two open wheel series are both killing each other.The CHAMP CAR folks blame TONY GEORGE.The INDYCAR folks really don't care about CH.CAR.I'm really surprised that C.C. is still putting on races.Dismal crowds at best.It blows me away.The PANOZ CHAMP CAR is faster ,and is probably a better car.The IRL cars are a good car,for what it does.Its just a damn shame.17, 18 car fields and no asses in the seats.I just don't get it.Both sides are arrogant little pricks,and that includes Paul Newman & his fat checkbook.Tony George is...well, Tony George.WHAT A MESS.

nothing can be done, until reunification happens there will be no competing with nascar, if you combine the irl and champ car you have more than enough fans in the seats, and you have real competition with all the good drivers, which puts even more fans in the seats, and as we know spectators brings sponsors, sponsors bring money, and money brings rookie talent,

how strong would stock car racing if there was a split in nascar, if you took the driver talent, the fans and the sponsors and cut it in half?

nothing nascar is so much better than indy racing they can have enough cars to field a race and pay the drivers more money ,not to mention get more exposure ,unless you are from europe or just a total moron than you know nascar is the #1 racing in the united states and always will be .

if mindy racing was more popular it would help..alot more exposure in nascar, and probably alot more money also.. money talks, probable alot better talent to.
