I'm going to list what I would wear if I were you, but don't feel like you have to wear all of the makeup I list.

1. If you have any blemishes or undereye circles, use your fingers to blot on and blend some concealor that matches your skin (I recommend L'Oreal TrueMatch). Be sure to wash your hands first.

2. Apply liquid or powder foundation for a smooth look; again, I recommend L'Oreal TrueMatch.

3. This is truly optional, but apply a liquid bronzer (L'Oreal TrueMatch, again, is good) to a moist makeup sponge, and gently blot and blend over your cheeks, forehead, and chin.

3. Use dark brown eyeliner to line INSIDE your lashline. Only lining the top lid is necessary.

4. Apply a taupe eyeshadow on your eyelid for a natural look. If you want to wear brightly-colored eyeshadow (in style right now), go for a grass-green, pink, or purple powder eyeshadow, wet the spongetip applicator, and apply to your eyelid.

5. Apply a dark brown mascara (I like Cover Girl's LashExact Mascara). Be sure to wiggle the brush as you apply to help brush out clumps.

6. Apply a tan or peach blush by gently sweeping a brush from your mid-cheek outwards toward your ear. Again, I like L'Oreal's TrueMatch collection.

7. Apply chapstick followed by a lipliner that matches your lips (I recommend Maybelline), and then either blot a little lipstick or lipgloss on top.

As for your hairstyle, I think that sideswept bangs would look beautiful, especially if you have a long oval-shaped face. Here's a picture (sorry the model's a bit old) http://www.thehairstyler.com/images/celebrity/Celebrity_672.jpg
If not, I think that long layers would also look wonderful. Again, bad example, but here's what it looks like: http://beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephotogalleries/ss/hairgallery_6.htm

I hope I helped!

Oval face - you can get away w/ just about any hair cut.

As for flattering makeup colors, determining your skin tone is the key. Here's how to determine your skin tone:

Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.

Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.

As for choosing lip color, a your lips but better shade is the most natural & flattering.
ex) Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Cherries in the Glow
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (either tone) or Almost Red (cool tone)

go with a razored-hair, medium length (or short, depending on your hair now). oh, and be warned....THIS ONLY WORKS WITH STRAIGHT HAIR!!! sorry, but wavy, frizzy hair will forever plague me!

anyway, use warmer colors for your makeup. go with a light foundation (preferably pressed powder),

black mascara (only sometimes, though, otherwise it will draw away from your natural beauty),

dark brown or black eyeliner,

lighter brown or gold (a more warm, natural kind, NEVER metallic!) for your eyelids-go darker near your eyes and get lighter as you go up,

reddish-pinks for your cheeks (on the top of the apples of your cheeks....the part when you smile that is near your eye, only a little underneath), and

a lip gloss of red/orangy pink (now isn't THAT an interesting color......okay, maybe a better way to describe it is a mango or grapefruit color).

if these don't work, go to a local mall (or another place with a beauty counter) and ask them to help you. they are paid to do that, you know!

shorter in the back longer in the front with some layers. also side bangs are always cool. As for your makeup DONT WEAR BLUE. Go for neutral colors, blue will make you look funny. Neutral colors will bring out your features.

well haircut for ur face long layers around ur face will look perfect and keep ur hair long its so much hotter than short hair, and i would use maybeline foundation if u dont want to spend to much but maybelline is my favorite and it looks great for any occasion, especially with ur tones, then i would use black eyliner to bring out those beautiful blue eyes, and use a nice coral or light pink creme blush would look great, and black mascara of course, and u can use any color of eyeshadow all colors will look beautiufl on blue eyes, especially light colors, and a nautural lip liner with some gloss

okay to accent your eyes, try a reddish tone of eye shadow, more like a coral.
