Holy crap! Umm... my trunk is full of crap, and here's an extensive list of what I can think of.
Drink mixer, plastic blue plate, 2 pairs of tennis shoes, 1 pair of khaki pants, 1/2 bag of cat litter (great for getting out of snow with), pop tarts (cherry), detergent (tide), war hammer (yes, I'm serious... I'm a nerd and got it at Ren fest last year and it has never left my car), Yaoi manga (several different series), light table silk screen ink (blue, red, brown, yellow, white and some colors in little tupperware containers I've mixed), boxes, some makeup, a couple of text books (probably psychology text books), car jumpers, gas can, first aid kit, and probably a small civilization living off of everything listed above. I seriously wouldn't doubt it.

Hold on.. let me look....
ok, got a tire changing thing, got a spare tire, got some junk I have to put in the car to make it run better (oil, antifreeze, fluids).
a 40 pound bag of cement, a rope, a length of heavy chain, an axe, machete, three of those contractor bags (extra sturdy and heavy, good for big stuff to dispose of), a funnel, and a stuffed toy bunny.
Please don't tell anyone I have a funnel in my trunk. Not sure if that is legal.

In my trunk you would find. My frissbee golf discs, a wiffle ball set, baseball gloves, a basketball, jumper cables, some empty water bottles and soccer cleats. Ohh yeah and the obvious a spare tire!

lets see....are you sure you really want to know? Tire jack, 2gallon of gasoline, fluids for my car, blanket, kids clothes, my man's clothes (heehee), one bag of papers I cleaned out from my car 5 months ago, that hasnt made it in the dumpster, and various pens and paper......oh and a couple extra diapers and wipes. Just in case. I am sure there's more in there than that, but I havent done inventory in a while. The inside of the actual car is nice and clean and vaccummed out, but that's about it!

Water bottles,disables plates ,glasses ,spoons for picnic. blanket,tire, engine oil,gloves and my car insurance paper. And dry food because in case I'm stock somewhere or my car stop. All these things are important to keep in the car for just in case. Also my baby's stroller.

spare tire and jack, under the mat..on top of the mat nothing. My trunk is cleaner than my car interior.

baby whipes, spare tire under the mat, one of my computers (needs to be fixed, so its chilling out in the car until monday), knowing my husband id say there is trash in there as well because he drives the car more than i do and he would rather hide the wrappers from the kid's meals than throw them away (ha), tire jack, spare car battery, jumper cables, first aid kit, flash light, ummm... thats about it that i can remember....
