Ok, ideas please, help me make money, stuck in a rut, decent job but it is not enough?

Question

First of all I am not whinning, really. I make about $400 per week. I pay bills with about $125 and live off the other $275 (well two of us do, my other half disabled, no income, working on getting SSI). My home needs a hot water heater (we have facilities in our complex), the A/C repaired (we're hot) and a stove (we use a port-a-burner). I need to figure a way to earn additional income without putting my real job at risk. Not into MLMs at all. Haven't had luck with on-line auctions (used to do used designer and vintage clothes, got worse and worse) barely breaking even. Have been applying to work at home CSR type work, no word yet. Short of becoming a 'woman of the night' or getting another job (which I want to avoid, my main job needs open availablity). Anybody have any ideas? Better yet anybody have a success story from a simular frame of life?

Try getting a job delivering Newspapers, it's only a couple of hours each morning and you make around $600 a month.
