You need to join an anime music website. Look below at the Anime OST website.

Believe me, they will tell you EVERYTHING you want to know as well as giving you access to some music that you can sample until you buy albums ...

Just follow directions and you'll get access to j-pop and anime music. The great thing? The only requirement is that you post questions and answers ... exactly what you're doing here, but a more specialized audience AND they'll answer your question with specific songs that you can access (which I can't really.do here).

See you on the boards! Also, for starters go look into the Yeah Yeah Yeah's "Sealing" and Boa's hits (especially the one "Duvet" made for Serial Experiments Lain), and Do As Infinity's songs made for Inuyasha "Shinjitsu no Uta" and "Fukai Mori"... they're more mainstream America and should sate any j-poppiness in you until you start getting more into it. In fact, Inuyasha has a good blend of what you will be listening to. Stream the videos from the 2nd website to see if you like everything and you will get an idea of what j-pop is like.

Cause j-pop has just as much bubblegum pop and bad rock as they have ACTUAL music ... and I don't want you to be turned off to the whole idea by one bad song ...

It relies upon on my mood. If i need to hearken to better classic rock then Southern All Stars. they have had such an excellent number of impressive songs. better presently i love Nakanomori Band, and Yui, Mr. toddlers and Otsuka Ai.

Asian Kung Fu Generation are really good. They did theme songs for FMA and Naruto, and the rest of their stuff is great too.
