So my stepsister (who I really dont get a long with) is getting married next weekend. Her colors are chocolate brown and some blue color. Anyhoo our bridesmaid dresses are the chocolate brown color. She wants us to wear silver strappy sandals. Apparently I am the only one who thinks the silver totally clashes w/the brown. We should be wearing brown or gold toned shoes.

Am I wrong ? I want to say something to my sis but not my wedding.........

AAAGGHH! Brown and blue together already sucks - so it doesn't matter whether you wear silver or gold! If it was me, I'd totally enjoy being as unstylish as Ugly Betty for the day. Think of the laugh you'll have showing the pics to friends/family in years to come. It isn't YOUR fault your stepsister has no style!! Get her back BIG TIME if you get married - ha haaa!!

Don't say anything to her. You could ask her best friend, if she is in the wedding, what her opinion is [ silver vs. gold/brown ], but being a bride is stressful enough without added criticism.
Now you have some cute silver sandals to go with all your summer formals!

Well if you don't like her then let her go ahead and have a fugly wedding if you do then step aside and let her make (what we obviously both think is) a mistake because you telling her what to do is only going to make her angry and she's probably already stessed out trying to take part in putting her wedding together (frustration+person you don't get along with=a big mess)

Don't say anything, just go with the flow. Since you don't get along with her it is best to just chill.

Since you are in the wedding, you must get along with her or tolerate her to be a bridesmaid.

Don't cause any tension, afterall the wedding is her day to shine and if your shoes are silver, shine along with her.

You are totally right. I think that you should tell her, then see if she minds if you wear gold toned shoes. But don't get brown shoes. Hope I helped! Good Luck!

sry, it is ur sisters wedding, so ur just going to have to deal with it. don't worry, it won't clash that much and silver accessories are really in. get silver handbags and jewelry to go with the whole look! good luck!

It's her choice and her wedding, so I would not say anything. I agree that it does not match well though.

Sorry, but don't say anything. It's your stepsis' big big day, and just keep mum about it.
