How much should I charge for a 12" x 12" latch hook rug I made? It cost me $8 to buy it, and it took me like..10+ hours to make it. How much should I charge in total?

Since it is not your own design and it came with all the materials, you really should only charge for the cost of materials and maybe a little for your time. It's illegal to profit from copyrighted designs.

my OOAK clothing was based like this.....2 x's the material cost ....pattern ( even if I use the same one over and over ) needles, thread, cloth, and a few bucks for gas for when I went out to purchase materials needed...and then $5 to $15 an hour for every hour spent on construction and then there is the hanger, plastic cover and sometimes delivery.

50% up front non-refundable and allowing 2 weeks for delivery.

With a latch hook rug 12 x 12, no less then $100.00 and don't forget the presentation....either frame it or hang it from a wooden dowel....ask the customer how they want to use the rug and you prepare it to be shown for them like that.....this is how you will get your name/reputation for being good !!!!

good luck !!!

Had you been working in the factory, with labor in all, it should cost around $60, however, no one would buy it. try $14.99

It depends on the quality and the esthetics. If it is ugly, and of poor workmanship, you probably won't be able to give it away for free.
