I would definitely help out family members and if I won a lot, I would also give some to charity. I would share the wealth because it's the right thing to do. If you win more money than you can ever spend in your lifetime or your kids or your grandkids lifetime, then why not share it with other people, too? I would love the idea of helping out family members other people. If you win a lot of lottery money, you won't even miss the extra money that you gave away, but t will make a huge difference to the person that you share it with.

I'd keep some to myself but give the rest to my family & a few of my friends. A couple of my friends are married, each with a son & had to move back in with parents for financial reasons...they work full time but the husbands keep getting screwed over at their jobs. Grrr. My parents most definitely need help: my dad is disabled (parkinsons), they're living off my mom's small salary & are now going to have to support my 17 year old sister & the baby she's about to have. This is cause she's keeping it & doesn't have a job or know how to drive. (The job & driving part are my parents fault though...they didn't think she was "mature" enough for either. They're kickin' themselves in the butt now for that decision.....)
Oh and I would also give a bunch to my grandma too. When my mom & her 9 brothers & sisters were younger my grandparents bought a house about 3 hours down south of us on about 100 acres of land. It's now for the entire family's use but it's getting to be old & in need of major repairs...well, the house AND a few barns on the property. My grandma doesn't have the money for that since it's just her left & some of my family is getting negligent. Everyone agreed to contribute a certain dollar amount to the "farm fund" every month but not everyone is doing it. There are soooooooo many good memories with that house (half having to do w/ my grandpa - RIP) that we'd like to keep it in good shape. I'd give a bunch of money to my grandma to put towards the house so we'd be able to preserve all those memories.

Of course I would share. I am a single mother with two children and I was never able to really do something for their future (financially). I would buy my son a nice condo and a car so he does not have to pay rent and car payments. I also would set up a fund so he can go to art college and finally get a degree. My daughter is still in junior high, so I will set up a fund for college, for a condo and a car.
I will take both on a vacation of their dreams.
For myself...well I would buy a nice little house at the beach, invest money so I don't have to work for others anymore. And I would make a big contribution to a children's cancer center.
And when I am gone, my children will split what I have left them and hopefully do good with it.

Of course I would share. I would help out my family and some friends. I also would give to LOCAL charities. Charity begins in the home. Well in this case, neighborhood.
I would do it to make my community a better place to live.

There is no organization that needs charity more than I.
And all of the people along the way who believed in me and helped me get here will benefit from a windfall like the lottery. or bank robbery.
or jewel heist.
or when Santa gets Sleigh-jacked.

With immediate family members, yes.
I would give some to charity, but as a matter of course, not allocate a percentage of my winnings immediately.

It depended how much it was. I'd pay off all my family's bills and make sure they were all well off.
I wouldn't give it to charities though. I'd invest some of it.
I would get very very drunk.
I would also have a belly button implant. I've always dreamed of having two fully fuctional belly buttons. Both being able to pee out of.

i would first become bill free, then send my parents and my mother in law on a nice trip of there choice. The rest would go into savings, and put towards my children college eduactions. I donate to various charites through out the year, so i would defintley add more money to my donations.

I'd keep it for myself and invest it, giving gifts to friends and family every year from the returns I earned, because if I gave them a large sum up front, they'd just waste it.
I would not loan money to people, because that destroys relationships.
