She's out next month, and I'm sure that this along with all the other nonsense she spews had a lot to do with it. It's really too bad too. The View used to be a pertty balanced show, but now with Rosie running her mouth and that big mouth know it all yenta named "Joy" running her mouth too, the show has turned into a tree hugging, gay pandering, anti-government left wing sitcom. I feel sorry for Elizabeth Hassleback. The ONLY voice of reason on that show since Meredith left.

we are dying and killing in Iraq to bring them (supposedly) democracy.
Democracy comes with freedom of speech and expression.
If we cannot apply that very important right in our own nation (people getting fired for telling what they think) ... then how can we even dare try to bring democracy to a foreign land?
NOTE: I hate Rosie but heck everybody should be able to express their personal views on ANY subject ... WITHOUT being labeled anti American. THAT is a constitutional right.

Firing is what she wants, so she can stand up as one of the do-gooders who sacrificed in the name of her cause blah blah blah.
She isn't sacrificing anything, today's America rewards stupidity, just ask Paris Hilton. The more she speaks, the more controversy she drums up, and thus, the more money she makes.
No, she shouldn't be fired, she should be exhanged for the three missing soldiers, call it a fair prisoner exchange, three of our soldiers for one of their fifth column elites.

Not unless you want Ann Coulter, Michael Savage, and co. fired too.
You'll never see anyone in the media industry supporting the firing of Imus, Rosie, or any other controversial figure, because then any one of them could be next.
Free speech is good for America; even when it comes from the batsh!t crazy!

It's not going to load for me.
Why couldn't you give us a direct quote of whatever it was she actually said?
That way, we've have the relevant information to come to a reasonable conclusion.

Why?
Nobody fired Falwell when he condemned the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and referred to the civil rights movement as "the civil wrongs movement"?
Nor when he claimed,"Billy Graham is the chief servant of Satan in America."
Nor when he said,"If you're not a born-again Christian, you're a failure as a human being."
Why do people only tolerate the BS that they like?
