surrender an occupation? How can you win an occupation?

But we're not engaging in Nation-Building. Just want to be clear, this is NOT a nation-building exercise. The US military does NOT engage in nation-building.

Bush's exit strategy is to hand the problem over to his successor as he is exiting the White House, then sit back and complain about how the new President doesn't understand the importance of winning while he's counting his Haliburton kickbacks.

When they pulled down the statue of Saddam and draped the American flag instead of the Iraqi flag I knew it was an occupation. They hurried up and removed our flag and replaced it with the Iraqi. I saw in the next day's paper an interview with Bush who said No it is not on occupation. Knew that was BS. If you have occupied a sovereign country I think that is considered a "win". Look our government wants a base there. Militarily I can see why. Don't worry about this silly stuff...ok? It really doesn't matter. We're there, how to get out is anyone's guess.

You cannot win an occupation nor surrender from it.
Surrender and cut and run is just crap generated by the Bushiites.
