i found the fuse and checked it it was fine. i also looked at all of the wiring for it and couldnt see any problems. it has the dual electric fans on the radiator. and i have tried everything i that everybody has said for an answer and still nothing. im probably just going to rewire it with an inline fise and a switch on the dash.

It may not have any or enough anti-freeze in it. Cars don't usually overheat while driving unless it is rush hour. Turn on the a/c and see if the fan or fans come on, if the a/c works, if it has a/c! If the fan/s come on then it is probably a fuse or relay. If it doesn't have a/c unplug the fan and ohm it to find out which wire is zero ohms to ground on the wire you unplug, then run wires from your battery to your fan, if it fails to come on then it is the fan. Depending on the make and model makes a difference on where the relay's/sensor's are. If you live in the U.S. Autozone can probably tell you where they are, if they can't ask to look at them then go look on your vehicle for the parts, good luck.

how many fan(s) are there on this vehicle? some cars have only 1 fan, and some have 2 fans (1 for the engine, and 1 for the a/c). have you tried turning on the a/c (with the vehicle running) to see if it forces the fan(s) on? if it does, then it's probably your radiator fan switch (or something like that). if it does not, then check wiring (wires going to the fans), and the switch.

if all that is good, you can test the fans by unplugging the wires at the fan(s), and putting 2 jumper wires to the fan (1 positive, and 1 negative), and then touch them to the battery, and see if it works. but be careful, remember that the fan may turn so do have anything dangling in the way.

Eautorepair.com or Alldata.com for online access or parts stores--Chilton and Haynes manuals. Could be a bad temp sensor, relay, fuse, fan motor or wiring. Try jumping a wire from the battery positive post to the fan motor's power wire (red wire maybe) terminal--you'll have to determine which one this is--and see if the fan operates ok. You could leave it on like this temporarily to get around and just unhook it when you park the car. If the fan runs, then it's one of the other problems.

I'd start by checking the 30 amp fuse under the hood in the power distrabution box. If it's ok, then i'd check the fan relay in the same distrabution box. Easy way to check relay, switch with the horn relay. If that checks ok, then you might have a problem with the wiring to the computer.
Hope this helps!

The Haynes handbook say positioned 12 volts on each and every fan to determine in the event that they paintings. circulate on and try this. Take some twine and place one on on the constructive battery terminal and touch the different end on the capacity terminal you notice once you unplug each and every fan. you ought to use alligator clips in case you opt to. that could desire to run the fan to coach it works or would not paintings. There are relays for the followers. replace them with new ones so which you recognize they're good. there's a temperature sensor that tells th efan to return on on the main suitable temperature. The Haynes handbook will enable you to with all this. If it is perplexing you're able to get somebody who's moreexperienced with automobiles to enable you to circulate interior the path of the e book and see what all of it capacity. possibly you're able to positioned the vehicle interior the keep and get each and every of the little issues fixed. that forestalls them from turning out to be a mechanical insurrection genuine once you're previous due for paintings on a stormy day. I even have an extremely undesirable feeling on the topic of the overheating. you have gotten an exceedingly good mum or dad angel however.
