Yes, the population of Mexico is exploding out of control, and the immigrant population knows that sending them here is there only hope. If they would work at birth control rather than this obsession with big familys, they wouldn't need to break our laws and come here illegally.

What's a minority? I could point out some particular group of immigrants from Mexico who have committed no crimes at all. Then I could compare their zero crime rate with the non-zero crime rate of all "white" immigrants and say the "white" immigrants should be barred. Of course, that is nonsense, but so is your question.
I'm proud to be an American and I'm not afraid to compete with anyone. Let them come and may the best workers get the best jobs.

Railroaded would be the word I would choose.
The Socialists in congress are going to push this through and it is an almost exact copy of what kennedy did last time, with the exception of having La Raza approve it before we the voters.............. oh wait that is how it used to work, we the people, now it is the government by and for the special interests.
Write your senator today, call them and leave a strong message how you feel. Email them all several times. Email the president and ask him to veto this abomination.

I don't think people are being intimidated, I think that their elected representatives aren't representing them. There has to be more to this story due to the bipartisan support. What do both sides get out of it besides cheap labor? I bet you there is some serious back scratching going in D.C. right now.

First, I want to say I am not against legal immigration...but I am opposed to anyone who enters into a country ..illegally....and it matters not where they are from.......

Not minorities, no. Illegal aliens, yes. For instance, where I live - the Sate of California - there is no majority, only minorities. Being upset about 'minorities' is silly when everybody is one.

Politicians want to give them amnesty because they believe they will get more votes.
If you're an immigrant and you got here legally, I welcome you. If you are here in your country illegally, then I have no tollorance for you, nor should anyone else.
I think a lot of us forget about the most important word here.... ILLEGAL.

Simple answer is yes. They are also meant to feel guilty and that we need these people here to do the work Americans will not do. We can never allow people to break our laws and then give them free entry for doing it as their punishment. I am ashamed that our union leaders are in favor of this as well.

We can handle a few at a time but when they cross the borders in thousands - it's just way too much.
They do NOT intimidate me; I just become frustrated because they refuse to obey our rules/laws and insist we change our national language to Spanish.
