Belkin's F5D7230-4 V2000 and I have two laptops (A&B) and one WM6 Smartphone.
Laptop A is w/o XP SP2 and Laptop B is with XP2.
Untill couple of months ago I was able to connect to my home WiFi from all the three devices. Now I can only connect to my home WiFi using Laptop A and browse the internet.
My Laptop B and WM6 SmartPhone will connect to the WiFi but will fail to open up any web page. Router logs shows that they are connected to my home WiFi.
To make things intresting my Laptop B comes with a VPN, when the yellow bulb in the system tray indicates that I have a WiFi Connection and log into the VPN, I get connected and I can then go to the internet.
I have reache out to Belkins and they tried everything and gave me a option of getting the VPN port IP, but than I will not be able to connect my SmartPhone to the WiFi. I am not sure that is the solution for me. BTW My Router shows that all three devices are connected to it. I am not sure what the problem is. Pls help?

I would check the DNS setting of the laptop B. Connection to the router/AP but failure to browse the internet commonly occurs when the DNS setting is incorrect. You can test this by going to laptop A, open and command prompt window. Then type "Ping yahoo.com" . Jot down the IP address, then type that ip address proceeded by an http:// (like http://216.109.112.135) into the web browser. If it opens the web page, then you have a DNS problem.
