My youngest daughter only drank breast milk until she was about your daughter's age. I skipped the bottle with her and used only a sippy cup. She didn't begin eating solids until about the same age. She just wasn't interested and breast feeding worked fine for us both. She was growing and gaining weight so the doctor was fine with it, too. I first started her off drinking from my own glass of water since that is what she wanted. She mostly ate from the table from the start. Mashed potatoes, mashed bananas, mashed cooked carrots, meat loaf, tiny pieces of pasta were all favorites. If she is showing some interest in what you are drinking, let her drink from a regular glass. My older 3 kids were little back in the day when we didn't use sippy cups much and the ones they had weren't spill-proof. My daughter liked to drink from a straw, too. Breast milk has a lot of water in it and if she is eating some solids than juice really isn't necessary. I see too many kids drinking too much juice and eating poorly, so I rarely buy juice of any kind. The whole fruit is better nutritionally. She may just not be ready to try anything else right now. Wait a few weeks and try some water again. Unless you are trying to wean, there is no need to rush introduction of other liquids.

I wouldn't worry about whether she drinks juice. Most peds recommend giving them fruit and no juice (too many dental cavities these days from juice). She just wants breastmilk, so I'd suggest pumping or expressing to have additional available if you go out.
My cousin's GF's daughter also wouldn't drink anything but breastmilk until she was around 11 months old. Then she would sip smoothies.

Don't give her apple juice. The juice will give make her loose stools worse. Go to the store and buy pedialyte. It's made for when you kids are sick to rehydrate them. I wouldn't try milk because that might upset her stomach. They have flavored pedialyte also. Grape, apple, unflavored. It works great. My son was sick one time and had watery stools and couldn't keep anything down. Pedialyte was the only thing he would keep down. If shes not throwing up I wouldn't worry about giving her too much.. but if she's throwing up also.. Give her a few ounces at a time. it sucks because they are usually really thirsty. But Give her a few ounces, wait 10-15 minutes, Give her a few more. Don't just let her suck it all down at once. Good luck! A sick baby is no fun.

So long as you are drinking alot of water yourself, your baby will get the water she needs from breastmilk.
My son is 6 months old and I'm not giving him anything else. He's fine, he's a big pretty baby, too lol.
If she doesn't want it she doesn't want it. She likes mommy's milk, mommy's time and mommy's warmth.
When she's ready, you'll know.

Try dillutin gyour breast milk to change the flavor and texzture just slightly. Once she gets used to it, she should be more open to other things. IF not, just be patient one day and try a bottle with water or formula. If she won't drink it, wait a half hour and try again. Once she's hungry enough she should drink it fine.

Maybe she's just not ready for anything else yet. I wouldn't worry about it if she is a happy healthy baby. Give it a break for a couple of weeks and try again. One day babies adamantly refuse something and the next day they may love it.

She is just fine with only breast milk. I did not give my kids anything besides formula until they were one year old! And all 4 of them are just fine!
kids don't NEED anything else, unless they are not thriving.
