Tuesday, there was this accident in front of me, I stopped the car and minded the woman's baby while she exchanged details with that idiot who ran into her.
The act of kindness here was refraining from calling the idiot, idiot.

you know something, no need to do something kind for a stranger because on a daily basis, act of kindness must be done to anyone you know or you dont know.
It just comes your way and you either help or not, as for me, thank God im always kind and helpful to the ones who treat me the same.

I couldn't come up with anything good I did. I asked my mom and she told me that the biggest act of kindness was me refraining from singing in the bathroom. She says the neighbors wouldn't stop thanking us for this. Presents have been flying into our house in the past week. I don't know why mom thinks that this an act of kindness.

Several months ago, I was marching in a solidarity parade in a northern Israeli town (more specifically, it was a parade to show solidarity and support for the people living in the towns in northern Israel that were struck by rockets during last summer's war). At the beginning of the parade, we were all given a blue or white balloon. When we passed through the Arab section of town, I saw many small children watching us and I decided to give as many kids as many balloons as I could find. There were a lot of happy kids and a lot of happy mothers. I was happy.

I work for an auto parts store. A couple days ago, a man was stranded in the parking lot with an alternator gone bad. We got him a new one and he went outside to change it. By this time it was 10:00 at night and we closed. I left at 10:30 and helped him finish changing it out because it was a truck that the alternator was hard to get to. So, I finally left at about 11:30 to go home.

I try to do at least one every day. Like, handing off a trolley to someone coming in to the market as I am leaving, or replacing an item at a store, so that the people who work there won't have to clean it up. I try not to dwell on them, cos, I am not doing them for attention. Just doing what I would hope someone would do for me, a "pay it forward" if you will. Does not kicking someone's a s s count? I have spared many people from an a s s kicking they really really deserved.

i like to think i do this every day, kindness is not small, it gives you a big heart. it makes you feel good in yourself. and makes the person that you have been kind to. go away with a good feeling about themselves. being kind should be second nature to us all
