We all lose our tempers and say silly things at times.
The quicker you can apologise, the better. That way they will see that it was said on the spur of the moment.

Depends on how forgiving they are. How bad was the stuff you said, and how much damage did it do? Only you know, but you might email or send them a letter. If they accept this offering, than greet them in person and tell them so (you must be man enought to follow through on both). If not, let some more time pass, you have done all you could do. Learn from this and don't repeat the mistake.

I don't know. It was fairly rude to vent in a blog for everyone to see, I'd be upset if I were them. I'd apologize now if I were you and never do it again.
