You can't say 'I'm not a racist - BUT I think whites nake the right kind of music." That's bull. What about Archie Roach or Stevie Wonder and Babyface all three are black and they have sung songs that are against domestic violence, or Kanye West, he's black and sang about the conflict diamonds in Africa, or Mary J Blige, black also and she empowers women.
Music is music. You're not listening to enough black music if you think they only make tuneless dirty sounds

You seem to be sadly misled. It isn't about what race creates the music, it's about the MENTALITY behind it.
If you wanted to speak of "dirty" music being a "black" thing, then you must be forgetting all about Marilyn Manson, NIN, etc. The list could definitely go on, but because I'm tactful, I choose to cut it off.
I would like to see you elaborate on "tuneless dirty sounds" because it isn't really a clear statement.
I'm guessing you're referring to the rhythms associated w/ hip-hop and r&b, and if so, those are some of the things that enable them to be classified in those genres. And if that is to what you're referring, couldn't you have simply said you prefer other musical genres instead of making it a "race" issue, which you may not have been trying to do, but clearly did????????????????

We'll the can of worms your opening is quite large. Kinda like are gays better than straights in the fashion industry. There are years and years of different types of music and so forth to look at. The only noticable thing I can honestly say is you can pick up just about any black person off the street and they can sing. Not so much for white people. And it seems that black people always catch or creat a rythum, again not so much for white people. But music is really in the individual. It's a really hard question to ask.

I think that is an ignorant question. Blacks an whites make all kinds of music and certainly overlap. I do not think that jazz, which is typically associated with black culture, is less intelligent then metal, which is typically associated with white culture. By your bad grammar and lack of punctuation I assume you are young. You should learn a little more about music before asking questions like this.

both, not all black people make rap if that is what you are saying. I love blues & jazz. Black people also make rock music. There are also white people that make rap music with stupid lyrics.
There is no right kind of music, by the way. That is the awesome thing about music.

Everybody has different tastes because everybody is an individual. I know some white people who are really into the very "deep/militant" style of reggae - and some Black people who genuinely enjoy classical music. If you are seriously discussing music I don't see why color should come into it.

That is a racist question. Music is a personal preference it depends on the artists themselves not their race. Anybody regardless of their race can make great music. Music has no color, because artist overlap different genres.

Race has nothing to do with it. There is such a broad variety of music. Some of the greatest music ever has been from black artists. Your question doesn't make sense to me because you're being too limited in your thinking.

Can't really vote without a specific genre. and btw, this just in: browns, reds and yellows also produce quality music. Why don't you ask for an art preference rather than color of paint, such as, "Which music appeals to you, hip hop, country and western, rock or jazz?"
