Meet famous people?

I watched part of your video. You guys are pretty good --- I think the dudes with the long hair should get hair cuts, though. The long hair is an immature look, in my oppion. And the video itself...well, you need someone better to you videos. I would love to make a video for a band (and i'm good at it!)...unfortunately...

Have you tried going to clubs, cafes, and music festivals to look for "gigs"? I know some guys who have a band and they play for charity events, and go around to places. Nothing big yet, but ya know...our town also has a annual music festival and anyone can auditoin to play on one of their smaller stages (but lotsa people are there still, and it's certainly publicity). You should check for that kinda stuff in your area.

Your doing it now man, very clever. Start hitting local bars and night spots with the idea of playing for free or a couple of drinks. Alot of the smaller venues will be very receptive and your getting your name and face round.

If you do get a gig start rolling out flyer's at your own expense. It will be worth as a high turn out at the bar means the owner/s will more than likely have you back or recommend you.

O and you guys have got some talent. Very nice sound and vocals.

Shows!
Local pubs or coffee houses, anyone that will take you. Meet other bands in your area and get on their line-ups. It is all about networking, meet bands, club owners, fans... it will all snowball. Try getting some stuff played on college radio stations and see if local record stores would be willing to carry a single.
Also, keep your eyes open for local contests and radio shows that play unsigned material.

Play some city fairs, the place you get a different crowd of each age, no longer purely the bar crowds, automobile exhibits are stable. Play for unfastened in case you may desire to. Get a MySpace song account. this is quite effectual, i've got had human beings from around the international examine us out. submit fliers and banners around your area, make a demo and supply it to a community radio station, college radio is a physically powerful start up. It now and back takes a whilst to construct a physically powerful acceptance. i'm fortunate that we are quite lots ordinary in our area and if i could desire to fill in for somebody this is not a concern. purely keep going and don't supply up.

Promote-promote-promote
Post fliers everywhere--hand out fliers-tell your friends over and over-make sure you poster the venue you'll be at-blanket E-mails-anything helps.
Here in Cincinnati,our scene is hurting coz{one reason}
bands expect clubs to do all the promotion. No club can adequately promote 20 shows w/ 50-some bands a month. IT IS UP TO YOU BRO. Get Busy!
On tour? Contact me.

Sell your band like you are here. On the other hand you need gigs, gigs, gigs, and plenty of CD's. Don't only have 3 songs on a CD, like so many other bands (3 songs for $5, doWhat?) 'cause that's just a rip off. Get the gigs and advertise.

Just listened to a snippet of music, and got to say, you're actually pretty good!

Is there a college or local public radio station near you? Public radio stations are pretty open to listen to new artists and give them some air time. Just for example, a station out of a town near me www.wncw.org
They have instructions on how to submit music to them for airplay.

Advertise your gigs. It doesn't cost that much to get a few hundred flyers printed out and post them up around your town and some neighboring towns.

Good luck!

Approach Pubs who do Live music and keep doing the Gigs.

Advertise - put your name up on the local community web - there will be quite a few freebie places to list details.

Good Luck
