I am a BIG Sharks fan, but i truly believe the Ducks are the far superior team in the West. Even if the Sharks would have beaten the Red Wings, they would have not gotten past the Ducks.

I can't believe so many people welcome the change and the logo... okay, maybe the name change but come on the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim sound so much better than the Anaheim Ducks... and don't even get me started on that waste of time known as the new logo... I've never felt the old logo was cartoonish at all (except for the Disney name attached). This new logo looks like a cheap minor league inspired design. Yes, I'm bitter and no way in the world am I abandoning my eggplant sweater in favor of a new champagne duck foot when I go to the Pond next season.

Full disclosure: I am a Wings fan.

That said, I was really impressed by them last night. They showed a lot of heart. I said on here to another Ducks fan before the game that their team was something special. Losing Pronger was really rough, but if Detroit could overcome losing two top 4 defensemen, the Ducks could overcome losing one top 2 defenseman... if they all chipped in and cranked it up a notch. You just never know what a team will do when they suffer a big loss until they do it. They showed some real guts, and they won.

That said, the Wings showed some guts, too, and played well. But they made a lot of bone-headed mistakes and didn't get in front of Giguere enough. They bounced back from the overtime loss in Game 2 well. I would not be surprised if they turned it around again. I'll tell you one thing. I wouldn't bet money on this series at any odds! Good luck!

LOL Mighty Ducks movies were fun

Disney sold the team so the team color no longer green purple and white. Well , Eventhough i am a Rangers fan , i got nothing against Ducks. ( I kinda like the Ducks from the movies.)

Back to hockey , well after getting blow out 5-0 , Ducks rebounded nicely , at this point is still anyone's series. I think this has a chance going to 7 games.

I am an East Coast girl and follow the West on and off...But I have to say that I like both teams...they play a great game of hockey. The Western Final has been far more exciting then the East (sorry friends). I am rolling with Detroit as this point though...Chelios is amazing!!!.

From the start of the playoffs I have called the Ducks as the team to beat. Red Wings are extremely over-rated and their fans make me ill.
Last night was more of the same that I saw when the Ducks dismantled the Wild and the Canucks.
Still the ones to beat.
Quack!

They did what was expected last night. No surprise.
I am a Wings fan but can appreciate skill. They would not be in the final four if they were not a good club........I said Wings in 7 over the Ducks and I will stick by that.
GO REDWINGS!!!!!!!!!!
(wasn't Mighty..in the movies.....like fictional)

I equally miss the movies with Emilio Estevez and the kid from Dawson's Creek - they were inspirational, at best - as well as the Disney cartoon where these talking ducks saved the world as hockey players. Disney sure knows how to capitalize on their non-cartoon/movie assets!

I like the Ducks because i hate the Red WIngs. So I am cheering for them in the end but they aren't really my favorite team. But I do think they played a good game last night and I really hope they make it to the final!
