Okay, I can NOT touch anything with wet hands. I hate it, it bugs me, irritates me, makes me feel uncomfortable. My biggest problem with this is washing my hands and there not being paper towels, and having to open a new roll and have to touch the plastic.
Is there a name for this? (Be polite..)

You're not alone. I just googled for wet hands phobia. Didn't read all the sites, but other people suffer from it. My phobia is small buttons. I freak out if I touch one. Anyway, check out the site. Good luck, and don't worry about what others might say, everyone has some kind of phobia

I don't know if there is a name for that or not.But I always like to have dry hands before i touch anything too.Also if I'm just wearing socks in the house and step on a wet spot on the floor,I have to change my socks as I don't like the feel of it.So don't worry too much about it and have a good day.

I have something similar. I can't touch anything with dry hands, I have to apply lotion all the time. But my hands are very soft :) I also can't touch certain textures of fabric, for example, those gross Crochet blankets. They make me cringe. I call it my "texture issue" I am not sure if there is a "name" for it. My suggestion would be to make sure there are paper towels before you wash your hands.

wow, so glad to hear l'm not the only one with hand issues. l can't stand the feel of raw hamburger. have to mix it with a spoon so my hamburgers and meat loaves usually fall apart. and l can't get my hands near white paste, have to use a stick when using it.
