I used to be scared of water. If I got into water waist deep or more, I would start shaking uncontrollably. My father taught me how to swim. He taught me how to swim without my head being submerged. After I learned to swim, I am not scared of water anymore.
My parents said that I fell out of the boat when I was 18 months old. I wonder if it came from that?

WHat do you mean - scared of water? A glass, a bath, river, ocean.......
Do you swim? If not, learn. If that is too much - try water aerobics.
