he went to jail a couple of times due to the fact the cops found illegal drugs in his home. along with his wife (elizabeth) was found dead when they discovered the drugs. he took steroids and had some problems with that. he is now into religious activities but you may seem him very rarely on tna doing small things like managing. but he is basically done with wrestling...hope that helps

Lex Lugar is in semi-retirement from wrestling & has made a few appearances in TNA & in the independent circuit. Since he had a few run ins with the law over the years, the most controversial event in his personal life was the death of Miss Elizabeth in their home they shared outside of Atlanta in 2003. Since her death was ruled a suicide, fingers have been pointing to Lugar as a contributer to her death.

Lex was in the wwf. He started using drugs and was kicked out until he finished rehab. After returning, he went nuts and threatened a lot of others with their lives. So, Vince McMann kicked him out for good.

Last time I heard from him was when Miss Elizabeth overdosed on drugs and he was sent to prison.

he was the one responsible for miss elizabeth's death. she od'd at his house. he was also caught with steroids and other performance enhancing drugs as well as narcotics, which were found during the investigation of her death.
