Would kicking the box be helpful? I am not a fan of soapboxes and their climbers. While they are up there they tend to not be responsive to us on the ground here who would like to discuss their views with them instead of just hearing them shout.
However if you are sorry that you don't want to talk things over I will try to help.

Sorry. I am always up on my own soapbox so I can't help you down off yours. And you sure can't come up onto mine. It belongs to me! And from my lofty grandeur I dispense wisdom to all wise enough to receive it. Those who refuse my counsel do so at their own peril. My girlfriend is the only one who can take me down. She politely listens and then ignores my sage advice.
Take my advice, get a girlfriend like mine, then you can be humbled into slinking down from your pedestal of wisdom and go take out the trash.
