That is not a major concern because it is in the past. Sometimes people make a bad decision in the heat of the moment. If all girls were virgins on their wedding day, only about 10% would get married. It would have been nice, but not necessary.

well ideally you both wait, that would be the perfect scenario. But many people experiment with sex when they are young. Our culture in america promotes that and says everyone is doing that. Luckily the world is not right about everything, the church teaches kids to be faithful and wait for their partner to share that gift of their body.

I have to admit I had sex before getting married, and I found it to be a colossal mistake. It made me feel bad and ashamed later, even though in that moment it felt good. If I could do it over again I would take it back in a heartbeat.

So in my case I would not be mad if the woman I married had sex before meeting me. But if you find a man that waited his whole life to have sex, then you have to know that this man of god, will desire a woman of the same faith who has saved her body for marriage. That is what he knows to be the teachings of his Lord, and he will expect that from a woman of god.

Are those men hard to find, yes they are rare. But sometimes those men that are of rare qualities are the best men in the world.

But honestly if a man loves you he will accept you whether or not you had sex before. Just be honest before you get married. If he is ok with it, he will tell you before you get married and then nobody will be angry or upset, because you both know the truth of who you are to each other.

Honesty is the best shield in matters of the heart and ethics. It may be painful or hard to admit, but it will protect you from hatred and revenge.

I'm already married. BUT:

I wouldn't care if my wife was a virgin or not. I don't expect my daughter to be a virgin when she's married.

If she wants to wait, then good for her, and I'll stand by her no matter what. But if she wants to know if she can enjoy sex with her man before marriage, as long as she uses protection, and isn't doing anything illegal, I see nothing wrong with that at all.

That depends on the country/culture you live under.

While it is a nice thing to have your husband be your "first," in the US, virginity is not considered a big deal - whether you lose it with your husband or to someone prior.

That said, let's play fair. it's just as nice for a man to keep himself pure and chaste for his wedding night. But that's not a real issue in the US either.

Well there's some guys who would prefer marrying a girl is a virgin or lose her virginty with them. But some guys now a days dont really care as long as you only sleep with HIM and noone else. It depends on a guy basically.

To me, "losing virginity" is such an archaic concept. Her experience up to this point is what makes her. I wouldn't care if that experience involed loving someone mentally and/or physically. If you live in a country or if your upbrining makes it immoral to have sexual relationship before marriage, that may be a different story. If that losing virginity also involved catching incurable STD, it would also be a different story.

it is every mans dream to have a virgin for a bride but lets face it , in this day in age its hardly going to happen. Since that has been accepted into society for a long time now, no man really cares about virginity anymore.

Women and men are like golf clubs and baseball bats. We are only new until the first swing. After that we are all used equipment......

Who cares.

Virginity is not a perishable commodity. Wait until you are emotionally, physically, and financially ready.....

My husband didn't care... as a matter of fact, he was a virgin before he met me. We didn't wait till we were married, and I had already had sex with a few guys. He said he didn't care. He didn't expect anyone as beautiful as me to be a virgin:) Kinda sweet. I'm all his now though.
