The sentences I have to translate are:

1) nam astutias meas haud facile perficiam, si senex tranquillus erit ubi litteras in manus dabo.

2) si saeuus erit, ego senem tam frictum faciam quam cicer.

I know what the rest of the words mean. But I can't get the 'sense' of 'perficiam' and 'faciam' in the respective sentences.

If anyone would like to give their translation(s) of either or both of the above sentences, they are very welcome to do so!

These are a little tricky. Both verbs may be either first person singular, future tense, indicative, active voice OR first person singular, present tense, subjunctive, active voice.
