I do not care what programs I use, just need to transfer the data from documents on hard drive to CD-RW disks. There must be an easy way. Nero 5 seems complicated.

First put all the documents into a Folder on the desktop.
Insert a blank CD in the drive.
Right click on the respective folder and Click-Send To and then click the CD drive.
You will get a Popup message on the right bottom of the screen which "Files are ready to be written to the CD"
Just click on the message, the Windows writing wizard will popup
Just follow the instructions and you are done.

just highlight all the files you want to send and right click than send to and go CD-rw drive and you should get a little pop up in the bottom right hand corner and click on the icon with the CD on it and it will come up with a window now you click file and right these files to CD and put a name for the CD than click next than it will burn the files to CD when done click finish and the CD will eject out of your CD ROM

1: Open Explorer to My Computer - Icons of drive
2: Right click CD DRIVE you want to burn from.
3: On bottom of box that opens click "Properties".
4: Click the "Recording" tab.
5: Check the box "Enable CD recording from this drive.
6: Click Apply at bottom then click "OK" to close Box.
-now to record-
1: Insert "EMPTY CD"
2: Autostart should ask you if you want to open folder to burn.
If it doesn't, open one for "cd drive" and one for "folder" your files are in that you want to burn.
3: Drag files or folders from hard drive explorer to cd explorer. About 650 megs or less.
4:Burn to CD.

if you are using nero at start up of nero use nero express it has option to burn as data etc. so click on burn data cd then you willl see a box appear that says at click on browse to where these files are then click on one you want to burn then click add then finished , then click burn , all there is to it when burn is completed you just close out nero and cd pops out

just put the cd in, and go to the drive thru explorer or my computer, drag files in and click burn to disc when you are done. xp.
