Once. Shopping at Wal-Mart and an old man, late 70's, was sitting in his car kinda slumped over. I was parked next to him. It seemed odd that he was sitting in closed car when it was 96 degrees outside. I tapped on his window but he didn't look up. Called 911 and went back into the store to get help.
Found out he was having a slight stroke, but he lived. Happened about 4 years ago.
He sends me a Christmas and Easter card ever year and I send him one too. Sweet old man. :)

Yes. My mother in law was living with us a few years ago. She has really bad health, and was experiencing a reaction to one of the drugs she was taking. It was scary. I thought that she was having a seizure. I called 9-11 for the first time in many years. The only other time I did, was when I was 12 and watching my little brother, and he swallowed a penny. He was fine, but being 12 I was freaking out. That was pretty scary too.

Yes, I have. It was very scary. I was over at my grandma's house and she had trouble breathing so I called them. They gave her oxygen and took her away. The ambulance stayed in front of the house for a long time (I'd stayed behind to make some calls) and I couldn't figure out why they didn't just go to the hospital. Apparently my grandma's heart stopped in the ambulance and they had to restart it before they could go. Didn't matter much in the end, they couldn't save her and she died shortly after, surrounded by her family and friends.

Yes 3 times actually when my grandfather had seizures but he always refused to go to the hospital. Stubborn old man

Yep. When my house was on fire. Lot of good it did. The firemen just stood back and let it burn to the ground.

I have 2 times... my hubby had a heart attack one time and my father stopped breathing another..
