only when he was introducing the liquid though........it was pinful to the point that I had to tell the doctor to stop cause I couldn't handle it. Was that normal.......?

What I also thought was pretty weird is that despite the pain the doctor and assistant knew I had....I wasn't given any painkiller/tranquilizer during the procedure and also nothing afterwards.........

There are many people who are, in fact, very sensitive to the radiopaque dye that is used to visualize the fallopian tubes. A similar dye is also used with other radiological procedures. Again, not everyone has the experience that you did, but it's certainly not uncommon and they should have prepared you a little more for that possibility. I guess the thing to keep in mind is that an HSG is a great diagnostic tool in helping to identify or rule out problems so hopefully you've gotten some helpful information despite the discomfort. Take care.

I had one some months in the past. basically take a pair Ibuprofen or something till now you circulate. i might propose you to hold your companion no longer for utilising you residing house yet for help. I glided by utilising myself and genuinely needed I had made my husband circulate. It became exceptionally uncomfortable for me yet as quickly because it became over I purely had ordinary cramping afterwards. i might carry a pad with you. i understand i became happy I did. good success to you and that i'm hoping all of it comes out ok. loads of infant dirt!!
