we have no conception what it is like in their shoes. They were born dirt poor. Many have mental illnesses. Many were shuned by their parents and had nothing to fall back on. I always feel very bad, and guilty that in my life I have been so fortunate to have food on the table and a home to live in.

pricey One, area of being an individual is taking duty for once you screw up and accepting the outcomes. Be grateful that acquiring yelled at became the purely outcome that you had. My suggestion to you may want to be: (a million) attempt to relax for form of 10-15 minutes, because issues are not so undesirable - you in simple terms had a nasty day. After some better days, the soreness receives further and further minimized. (2) purchase those "adoptive mom and father" a useful thanks card and leave it on the table. spotlight how grateful you're for all that they have performed for you and how badly you experience about disappointing them. supply them an theory the way you'll take your household initiatives better seriousy contained in the destiny. Time the position you take care of your household initiatives nicely will rebuild trust. (3) Get with your boyfriend and get down about this reduce up straw organisation. convey to him aclearly bout what a demanding mission you experience that you're in and tell him that you don't want any "jokes" getting you into deeper stress. tell him that you want him being "on your aspect', if this relationship is going to artwork. (4) imagine heavily about what you'll do FOR your self and then carry out on that. You look residing a existence which revolves round what each body else thinks - your boyfriend, his mom and father, your mom and father - and that in simple terms would not artwork nicely. What do you want to do for your self? once others see you getting into a large route, they could have little selection yet to flow alongside with it. guard your self.

I do feel sorry for some of them. However, there are several options and places that are free or just require that you help out (like do "chores") to stay... like the salvation army. I do not feel like every homeless person takes advantage of the possibilities that are available to them. I have a hard time feeling sorry for the ones that could go somewhere like that, but don't.

I do feel sorry for them & have helped them out. For the ones on here that said they should get a job, you must not know anything about mental illness. There are a lot of them that wishes they could work, but if you don't have a proper functioning brain, how can they. I know first hand since I take care of my uncle that has a mental illness !! To those, I hope for your sake you don't end up like them!!!!

It depends.... Sometimes hard times befall people and through no fault of their own they become homeless. Then there are the ones who choose a certain lifestyle which ends up with them living on the street but entirely through their own actions. I feel sorry for the first mentioned here but have no sympathy for the latter.

How does one know who's fault it was. The earth has always been full of homeless people and, sadly it always will be. They say human evolution - the ability to change is about 99 % complete. I hope somewhere in that one percent that, even if we can find nothing in ourselves to do something for them, we will develop, somehow, the kindness not to persecute them from within the comfort of our own homes.

I do feel a little bit of sympathy for them, but it's hard to pick out which ones it's their own faults, or which ones brought it on themselves with addictions or other problems. but it's just sad how the United States is the richest country, yet we have so many poor people. I think we have an uneven distribution of wealth, the richer keep getting richer..and the poor will keep getting poorer..Untill something is done about this problem.

I used to feel sorry for them and give them money. But as I've gotten older,I understand that it's a way of life for most of them. They are hiding from society, in an open space. Cower eds really feeding off of hard working peoples sympathizes. Some of them murderers staying in the shadows, others drug addicts.Yeah... I understand that you do sometimes get down on your luck and need assistance. That's why its hard to pass up some people....I was torn until the other day when I saw a young child with a sign under a bridge at a lite w/ no parents in site. I thought to my self how crazy it is to use your own child..... because you are either to lazy to get a job, or..........What is our world coming too?

I feel ashamed to be a part of an enlightened society that allows some of the most vulnerable, injured, and abused among us to be subjected to the torture of living in the street. I work in a major city, and I have several restaurants that co-operate with me when I bring a homeless family in for a meal, and personally work with them, and other stakeholders, to help them regain their self-esteem, and contribute again to society...

Yes I do. Thing is that if you support them you probably help their chemical habits. These folk have been part of society from day one and will be in the future. Decide. No grey area, are you for or against the choice they make? There are many gentle souls that reach out to these folk and become involved in their day to day lives. People with compassion. Personally I am too judgemental to reach out. Have my own ratrace to run. lol
