Isn't it bad for your swimsuit to have chlorine in it, can I just soak it in water for a few minutes and ring the water out and let it air dry or what's the best way to take care of your swimsuit?

Do what you're doing but gently squeeze the water out instead of wringing your swim suit. Wringing it stretches it out.

There are special detergents that help remove chlorine or use a drop of swimmer's shampoo to wash your suit.

Rinse it in clear water or wash it in a very mild detergent like baby shampoo or Woolite. Then rinse, rinse, rinse. (But in most cases, or until you get home, just rinse.) Oh yeah, the best way to get the water out of it rather than wringing it -which can ruin some suits - is to lay it flat on a towel, roll it up in the towel and then wring the whole thing gently. It's just gentler on the suit.

Rinse in clean water. wring it out by rolling it in a towel and then air dry it...not in the sun, since it can cause it to fade.

Just rinse it in water or wash it. If you are at a facility with showers in the changing room take a shower in it and use some soap.

Why not throw it in with the laundry?
