I'm writing a paper and I need some descriptive phrases and metaphors, will you please help me out?

My Mother is 94 so I will describe her if I can do her justice.
When she walks, her small frail frame is bent slightly to the right and she drags her left foot. Her smooth hands have skin that is paper thin. Her once bright eyes are now dim with age. Her slight voice is hard to hear. But when she says " I love you" it is still the most wonderful 3 words to hear.
