It totally sounds legit to me. I've always thought I should be paid for every email I send. I also think I should get paid for every question I answer on Yahoo! Answers. If you're in doubt, you could always give Mr. Bailey a call and ask for more details.

Well try to think about this in a logical way. If I could get paid just to send emails to people I know, what stops me from just creating email accounts and sending them to my self at another address? A smart company, especially a company like Microsoft, is going to pay you that much money for what? some ones email address? No, smart companies pay on results, not potential results. If this method was effective they could just call every one in the phone book and tell them to tell their friends. Don't waste your time with it.
Sincerely,
Ken Seavert

NO!!! It's a scam!!!

They will ask you to send a fee for shipping their products to you as they write you a rebate check. Then they will put you in the spam distribution list and you get Microsoft junk mail.

Don't do it. It's a dumb move.

no, and you shouldn't. i am probably hyper-sensitive about this, but it seems to me like a great way to supply all the wrong people with your friends' email addresses. at best, more spam for everyone, and at worst, fraud and identity theft or computer viruses. i say delete and report spam.
