my feet and hands. It's to the point where i dont go anywhere because i cant stand to wear clothing. I cant sleep at night. I kept telling my doctor and he kept brushing it off. He finally did a blood test for the blood function panel and everything was normal and i got a serum test done and everything was normal but i heard with cholestasis sometimes they are normal then they just peak. And I also heard some babies are still borns in cholestasis cases. I'm really scared that if i do have it and they just failed to diagnose it that my baby will be sick or a still born. are there any mild cases of this or is it just bad all together???

At 39 weeks they should just induce you are full term. Even if there is a slight chance you have cholestasis the doctors should induce you.

I answer any questions to do with a itch during pregnancy because it is important for ladies to know what risk there is to your baby.

Please visit and READ Information at a really good site and there is also a nice chat site that you can talk to alot of Cholestasis sufferers at www.itchymoms.com
or
Search the web for Cholestasis of Pregnancy

Itching can be more dangerous than you think during pregnancy.
I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE...........

I don't want to scare you with this information but it is very important as not all doctors a familiar with Obstetric Cholestasis.

Go straight to your DR and ask about Cholestasis of pregnancy.
It is serious you can have STILL BIRTH.
I got itchy in my first pregnancy no rash but a terrible itch at about 36 week Dr said nothing to worry about but i nearly lost my baby boy.
Then I had it with my next pregnancy at 12 week and was diagnosed with Cholesatsis.
and now I am in week 18 with this baby and I have it again IT STARTED AT 8 WEEKS THIS TIME.

Ask to have your BILE SALTS tested this is the only test that will diagnose OC, argue with your Dr if you have to, it is worth it.

An itch doesn't seem much but it can be fatal to your baby if it goes undiagnosed.
The itching can be any where I had it on my legs and arms at first.

I don't want to scare you but please realise this is very important

at this point your baby should be making regular movements, if you ever dont feel him moving give them a poke, and if you get no response go immediatly to the doctor.
